In the studio, I mostly stay monochrome — outside, color gets to join the party. I genuinely enjoy shooting in color, though less in a controlled studio setting and more in places with character of their own: out in nature, in lost places, wherever the surroundings — and their decay — already tell a story. These images tend to be more spontaneous and raw than my studio work, with all the atmosphere that comes with it. I'm always happy to connect with people up for unusual locations and a relaxed, open shoot with no fixed script.
